This 1933 film starring John Wayne sees cast him as as a government undercover agent who tries to stop the villain of the piece from using his control of the local water supply to extort the ranchers of the region. Wayne also tries to win over one of the female ranchers Fay Denton. A classic Western adventure starring the king of the saddle John Wayne.

John Wayne - born Marion Morrison, began a football scholarship in 1925-1927 at USC, his friend Tom Mix, got Wayne a summer job as a prop man during the summer in exchange for football tickets. During his summer job he became good friends with director, John Ford, and as a result was often cast doing bit parts. Somewhere along the way he decided he would stay with film and his first feature was ‘Men Without Women’. During his career he went onto star in nearly 250 movies. Wayne’s health was far from great and from September 1964 onwards he underwent surgery to have a cancerous lung removed, a heart valve replacement, and in January 1979 his stomach was removed. John Wayne later died on 11 June, 1979 of lung and stomach cancer.
